Caddie FAQ
Short answers to the questions people actually ask before and after linking Caddie.
Where can I talk to Caddie?
The B3OS app at b3os.org, plus Telegram, Discord, and Slack.
What does it cost?
Requests and automation runs consume compute units (CU) from your organization's balance. Rates and balance mechanics are in Billing and CU.
Can Caddie spend my money without asking?
Not from a conversation — every money-moving ask stops at an explicit confirmation. Standing automations can only do what you approved when you set them up. Full model: Money & trust.
How do I stop something Caddie set up?
Open Workflows in the B3OS app — everything Caddie created is listed there with its run history. Pause or stop it with one click, or just ask Caddie to do it. See Your standing automations.
Does it work in group chats?
Yes — Telegram groups, Discord channels, and Slack channels. Everyone in a linked chat talks to the same Caddie, acting within the linked organization.
Is Caddie giving me financial advice?
No. It surfaces data and executes decisions you make. What to buy, sell, or hold is your call.
How fresh is its data?
Caddie answers market questions with live tool calls — prices, order books, odds, yields — not from the model's training data. When it can't verify something, it says so.
Something's wrong — where do I get help?
Ask Caddie itself first (it can debug its own automations' failed runs), check Troubleshooting, or reach the team on Discord.
