# Get Coins Markets

Get futures market performance metrics for cryptocurrencies including price, open interest, funding rates, and liquidations. Returns current price, OI, market cap ratio, price/OI/volume changes across timeframes (5m to 24h), long/short ratios, and liquidation data. Pass 'symbols' (e.g. 'SOL' or 'BTC,ETH') to get specific coins — without it, results are ranked by market cap, so coins[0] is BTC. Ideal for: market overview dashboards, futures market analysis, identifying high activity coins, momentum screening.

Always set this when the workflow is about specific coins; without it, results are ranked by market cap and coins\[0\] is BTC. |

**Use expressions for dynamic values**

Payload fields can use workflow expressions such as `{{$trigger.body.amount}}`, `{{$nodes.fetch.result.price}}`, and `{{$props.asset}}` when the value should come from a trigger, prior node, or reusable workflow prop.
